Back when Angie was in high school , her English teacher told her class to write everyday, to never stop writing. That came easy for Angie as she wasn't so athletically coordinated. Keeping her weight down wasn't easy, and she often spent too much time watching T.V.
As Angie left for college, she started exercising more and making healthier choices. She pushed herself to meet her potential.
Her teacher's counsel to write everyday became difficult. Angie married, had children, helped with the family business, and more. So she tried moonlight writing, lunchtime writing, anytime-I-can-squeeze-it-in writing.
With a growing family, Angie hardly has time to read let alone write, but she feels driven to give today's youth something both fun and strengthening--something to encourage them to pass up the lure of electronics and go out and "live".
She believes anyone can achieve greatness, if they are willing to pay the price.
When not busy helping her family and community, Angie enjoys getting outdoors, doing new things, trying new detoxes, and working on Desert 2: Underground.
Questions can be dangerous . . .
Seventeen-year-old Alysse's senior year is stressful enough with exams, a harpy teacher, and a long-time crush falling for her best friend Tori.
Then Alysse starts questioning what she's taught about the enemy living right outside the city wall. She soon faces guerillas, a seismic bomb, and a genocidal plot that could spark a war.
Alysse must decide who to trust as she and her friend Pete ask questions everyone else avoids. Probably because everyone else is afraid of the answers. And they should be . . .
